Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026
What must not be done with Omni Connect. It exists to protect your account: abuse by one customer costs API access for every other one, yours included.
- Consent
- Only message people who agreed to hear from you
- No fake engagement
- No automated likes, followers or interactions
1. Why this policy exists
Omni Connect connects accounts of yours on third-party platforms. When one customer abuses those connections, they are not the only one who loses access: the platform can restrict the whole application, and every other customer goes with it.
That is why the rules below are enforced strictly, and not as a formality.
2. Prohibited conduct
- Messaging anyone who has not consented to hear from you
- Buying, renting or scraping contact lists with no legal basis for the send
- Ignoring an opt-out request, or making it hard to submit one
- Disguising who the sender is, or pretending to be another person or company
- Circumventing a technical limit, quota or safety control of the platform
- Reselling account access to third parties outside your workspace
3. Messaging rules
Every campaign honours opt-out, and a request to stop receiving messages is applied across the whole base, not only to that campaign.
Volume and pacing must follow what the originating platform allows. The product's safety limits exist for that and must not be circumvented.
4. Use of platform APIs
When you connect a platform account, you remain subject to that platform's terms in addition to these.
We do not use data obtained from platform APIs for advertising, external profiling or resale, and neither may you.
- No artificial engagement: automated likes, followers, views or comments
- No operating accounts on behalf of third parties without their authorisation
- No rebuilding a platform database beyond the permitted limits
5. Use of artificial intelligence
Model output is a suggestion, and reviewing it before sending is on you. Text that goes out in your company's name is your company's responsibility.
- Do not use the AI to pass as a real person without making the automation clear
- Do not generate synthetic media that imitates a real person deceptively
- Do not put passwords, access keys or sensitive personal data inside a prompt
- Where the law requires labelling AI-generated content, label it
6. Prohibited content
- Illegal content, or content promoting illegal activity
- Fraud, scams, phishing or false promises of gain
- Harassment, threats, hate speech or incitement to violence
- Child sexual abuse material, in any form
- Malware, or links leading to it
7. Restricted sectors
Some sectors require prior authorisation and may face extra restrictions from the messaging platforms themselves or from the payment provider: gambling, crypto assets, lending, healthcare, supplements, tobacco, weapons and adult content.
If you operate in one of those sectors, talk to us at socio@sociosai.com before subscribing.
8. Security and integrity
- Do not attempt to reach data belonging to another workspace
- Do not run penetration testing without our written authorisation
- Do not deliberately overload the infrastructure
- Report a security flaw you find instead of exploiting it
9. Reporting and consequences
Reports of violations can be sent to socio@sociosai.com, with whatever can be established about the case.
Depending on severity, we may limit a feature, suspend sending, suspend the account or terminate it. Where there is imminent risk to the integrity of the platform or a legal requirement, suspension can be immediate, and we notify afterwards.
An account terminated for breach of this policy does not generate a refund, as set out in the Refund Policy.
